Stand tall holding dumbbells at the sides, feet hip width apart.
Step one foot back and lower until the front thigh is near parallel, then drive through the front foot to return to standing.
- Step back far enough to keep balance
- Front foot flat and stable
- Stand up without leaning excessively
- Short step causing the knee to travel far forward
- Rushing reps and losing balance
- Uneven reps between sides
